Name: Lync
Species: Krahka
Gender: Female
Appearance: Lync’s currently preferred form is that of a Matoran of Air. Her stature is on the lean side, built light and thin. Her armor is sleek and simplistic, its primary emerald color focused in the torso, extremities, and mask, and accented with sand green primarily on the limbs and abdomen. Her mask is in the shape of a Kaukau.
Kanohi: While Lync is capable of wearing Kanohi, she is not currently in possession of one, and her powers are unable to copy the abilities of Kanohi.
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Lync has the inherent ability to copy the forms of beings that she has seen, copying their natural abilities and giving her some portion of that being’s knowledge with it.
--Her perferred form is that of a Matoran of Air, giving her increased agility and a seeming lack of vertigo. In this form she carries a Kanoka launcher and a pair of Kanoka, a level 6 freezing Kanoka with the Ko-Metru function of dodging obstacles to reach its target, and a level 4 weakening Kanoka with the Onu-Metru function of returning to the user if diverted.
--She has also previously assumed the forms of a Nivawk, Ice Bat, Cable Crawler, Tarakava, Metru Mantis, and Silver Chute Spider, giving her their natural abilities when she chooses to use them.
Personality: Sarcastic and snippy, Lync responds to friends and foes alike with dry retorts. As she is used to being alone, she feels to need to maintain this independence and solve problems on her own. She isn’t the sort to easily form close bonds with others either, something that her secret identity only exacerbates. She is, however, good-hearted, surprisingly empathetic to other beings and often motivated to help. She is very analytical, her quick wit and sharp mind leading to a tactical fighting style.
Background: Lync has spent much of her life alone, separated from others of her species and forced into hiding when they were decimated by the Visorak. She bounced around the Matoran Universe for a while, eventually making her home in Metru Nui. Most of the time she hides in the Archives and underground pathways of Onu Metru, much to her chagrin. While the paths provide ample space to hide and run, she hated being cooped up underground with a passion. At times she would sneak up to the surface, but her excursions would always end with her being driven off by Vahki. Finally, in an attempt to walk the surface freely, she took the shape of a Matoran. It gave her the freedom she desired... for a time. Before long she found that Matoran on Metru Nui were expected to work, and found herself at odds with the island’s Vahki.
