IC: Rahzahkea twirls the spear once more, activating the claw and deactivating it a bunch of times. He smiles in spite of himself and lowers the weapon, nodding once again. "This should be useful indeed. Please pass my compliments to your smith. He does good work."
He half-turns toward Lync and Takua. "Takua, do you know where Vashari is now? He should be alerted of our new resources as well."
IC: Kinaki watches Rahzahkea world the polearm. “Interesting tool.” His eyes flick to Syreio. “Who is this smith?”
Tuhi looks at the various tools in between watching Rahzahkea and the others. He decides to talk to Vako. “Whaddaya think? Any of these seem cool to you?” Free Lemon Water
IC: "A Matori craftsman in Ta-Magna by the name of Irnon, should the name be familiar to you. Malvo wanted everything to be built in-house, but I enjoy commissioning outside contractors, depending on the project. Collaboration can yield unexpected results, such as this weapon here." She beams at Rahzahkea's new weapon.

IC: “Interesting,” Kinaki nodded. He had seen similar weapons in the war, not used by the Toa initially but picked up from their enemies. It made him anxious, but he was probably just paranoid with recent events. It stood to reason that someone in New Atero would figure the technology out. If it even was some new technology, for all he knew this was just another way Toa tools could work.
IC: Borom stares at him for a moment. "Improbus, do you recall what just happened?"
IC: Improbus’s head slowly tilts to one side. “I was having a very interesting conversation with Huringa, you came in and asked probably the same question you’ve been asking for the past week, and now you’re…still here.” Improbus’s head rights itself and seems to stare through Borom, like he’s trying to look at the screen again. “Still here…”
IC: Borom takes a step forward, tapping the pommel of his sword against Improbus's chest. "You began to answer my question, and stalled mid-sentence. You seem to be malfunctioning, Improbus." He turns to regard Huringa.

IC: “Mm,” Kinaki grunts. He looks at other weapons to distract himself.
Come! Come and listen, my friends. Listen as I regale you with the next chapter in the legend of the Bionicle.
Takua’s eyes widen. “Lync, that’s a distraction technique. Whatever he’s doing could be going down soon.” He holds up a silver coin in his left hand, using to catch the light. “Show them left hand, so they don’t see the right.” Down below in his right hand was the energy gun. To illustrate his point he pulls the trigger at Lync’s gut, nothing coming from the gun of course, but it makes a click. “We did things like that all the time to steal from enemy ships. I think we should tell Sansod to put up an alert.”
IC: Lync tenses, instinctively recoiling from the shot that wasn't there. She lets out a long sigh.
"Look, you're probably right. But it's not like Sansod would listen to me. Don't know if you noticed, but the powers that be don't think very highly of me. It's not like I have a direct radio straight into the New Order's ear-" She stops herself, gears whirring in her brain. "Well. I guess we could talk to Kinaki. He can probably get someone to listen, right?"
She sweeps the discarded chain weapon up with a gust of wind, catching it in her hand. "At least it's worth a try."
“Yeah. We should do that.” Takua turns to the basement opening. “Hey, Kinaki! We could use your help down here!”

IC: Huringa looks at Borom with a smile born of their deep and genuine passion for cable management and not fond memories of dissecting people. "I have not observed any such phenomena. Is it something that has not occurred before?"
Huringa's metal legs twitch as if aware of a sudden irony, one of the jagged toes clicking against the ground. Despite having locked eyes with Borom, Huringa is still making small notes on the side of the rock chunk in their hand. "Do you happen to have any more usable tablet devices? For notation, of course. Nothing else."

"Merry Christmas to you too." Vezon smiles, snapping into another salute with no sense of irony, "And a happy new year."
IC: Twelve didn't know what that meant. He wasn't even sure that was the same language. But he smiles anyways. When it came to Vezon, that was all you could do, so he just smiled.
Vezon smiled back, visibly relaxing as the buzz slowly begins to kick in, dulling his senses.
Muhahhahahahaa... AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! -A fun night out at the apocalypse
IC: Terenoa growls, rolling her eyes. "Look, you didn't need to come with us. And it's not my fault that we lost track of them after the village; there were too many tracks there to tell which ones we should've followed." She sighs.
"But we're home now, and I'm sure the Vanguard can help you with your problem, okay? With any luck, a few extra days won't have mattered."
Mokuzai frowns, glancing between the others and trying to find a way to defuse the situation. We can’t leave on bad terms, especially when this guy is on his death bed
Finding himself a bit worse for wear as well, Mokuzai gives a light gesture towards Vavo. “I hope we can see you in better spirits soon, Vavo. If you want me to pay you back for your time in the future, I wouldn’t mind.”
“If only we had a future…” Vavo mumbled. He slapped the infected side of his face, trying to get a hold of himself, before he turned to the others and smiled weakly “I’m sorry. You all seem like decent people…I just wish we had met under better circumstances. I think I should split off from this merry band and find a way to cure myself. Anyone know someone in the city who could deal with this? Failing that, where can I find this time’s AEGIS?”
IC: Lync snorts. "Well I could've told him that. Nah, we had something else in mind. You still report to the New Order, right?"
IC: Kinaki nods. “Yes, weekly. Bi-weekly if we were busy.”
“I think we need a city-wide alert. I don’t like what Lync told me.”
“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”

IC: Vako fiddles with his hands, overwhelmed by all the tools surrounding him. Eventually, he approaches a one-handed axe and weighs it in his hands. "Light..." he says quietly. A layer of ice grows on the weapon's handle as the gears in the Toa's head start to turn. "I have wanted to try this." Vako concentrates and throws the axe. A few seconds afterwards, it stops mid-air as he tries to control the ice like he did with his knives earlier. It shakes as Vako struggles to balance the weight, but eventually it comes flying back to him! He shrieks and ducks as the axe is hurled over his head and hits the wall behind him. It's a start.
OOC: I'm not sure if that's a stretch, I can retcon this if its too much or anything

OOC: I don’t see a problem considering you’re pretty trustworthy, but I’m not the GM. IC: Tuhi dives for cover too even though he’s probably too short to get hit anyways. He stares at a spot on the wall and not at Pheore or Syreio. “Whoops…”

IC: Terenoa grimaces. "I'm sorry you have to carry the weight of doom on your shoulders at all times. If anyone can help..." She sighs. "I'm not overly familiar, but the Vanguard have been dealing with matters similar to your infection for a few weeks now. I think they have an ally who has some expertise on the subject. Given how the New Order treats deviance, the rampant amorality of Nekra Corp, and your own complicated relationship with AEGIS... I hate to say it, but the Vanguard might be your best bet."
She nods to herself. "They have a base in the Ice District here, not too far inside the walls. I can show you there; I have a friend I need to check in on anyways. If the Vanguard can't help you, well..." She turns, pointing out a monolithic tower that dominates the skyline, even compared to the knowledge towers stretching overhead on the ridge. "Nekra Tower. As far as I know, AEGIS still uses part of the building as their staging ground for affairs within the city. That would be the first place to go if the Vanguard can't help."
She looks between the two. "Does that sound acceptable?"
