What once was a barren area marked only by a main road and the ominous structure of the Hand is suddenly cloaked in shadow. For barely a second, all light is extinguished, and the area blacks out. The darkness retreats as fast as it came, but now a new sight can be seen hugging the rocky ground. A large fortress stands obstinately where there was once empty ground. Possessing a particularly thick, outer wall the fortress boasts a large courtyard just within this wall. Inside this courtyard stand three, two story buildings. The rear of these buildings are incorporated into a second wall, which, constructed in a circle, sits all about a main, three story building. The Hand of Arlen structure is also incorporated into the right side of this interior wall. The walls and architecture of the fortress appears bulky, with prominent blocky edges.
It is inside this fortress that Visorak and Rahi begin to move about quickly, testing and calibrating the already constructed systems.
At length, an OTAT teleports in front of the fortress, and, mentally hailing the gaurds, is allowed through the main gate.
A none to pleased Torzek, flanked by a tired looking Suukurahk and Oohnorahk, stalks out of the OTAT and casts his furious eyes upon the Boggarak officer that has come to meet him.
The Boggarak, flanked by eight Exo Toa of various varieties who have come along for ceremonial welcoming purposes, does his best to conceal the extremely uncomfortable feeling that Torzek's gaze is creating inside of him. He barks out,
"Lord Torzek. I was not expecting you"
Scarcely were the words out of the visorak's mouth before Torzek spit out a reply.
"Of course you weren't! If I wanted to be expected I would have had you alerted to my arrival. I see your establishment is set up, and not a moment too soon. I'm at war and I need weapons!"
The Boggarak blinks in surprise at Torzek's words, but, having heard from others that the only way to stay safe around Torzek was to give him what he wanted, simply bowed his head in acknowledgement. "It shall be done. I shall set my matoran about that task at once."
Torzek's snaps out a sharp reply before snaking off in search of a suitably dominant perch. "See that you do. I will crush those Forosian Rahi!"
The Boggarak officer stands in a daze as he thinks. "Weapons? Easier said than done. Development takes time, but he seems ready to march us into war any second now."
Without warning, the officer receives a mental message from, of all people, Tyglax. Tyglax's words steal into the officer's mind quietly and seriously.
"So Torzek found his way to you?"
The Boggarak, stunned that he should be the object of such attention by, first Torzek, and now Tyglax, pulls his wits about him and responds.
"Yes my Lord. The dragon has ordered my establishment to begin research on new units."
Tyglax replies. "Build him his units. It would be of benefit to our organization if he was allowed to plunge himself into a war that would keep his irrational scheming mind busy for a few months. I trust you, however, to ensure that the new A.I. tech newly made available is used for his units. I will not have more costly and irreplaceable units wasted on his whims. I have another purpose for you."
The officer becomes excited, increasingly pleased to have been so singled out.
Tyglax continues. "Project Vision requires additional support. I have mentally communicated with your Oohnorahk lead and provided him with the knowledge necessary for the creation of the support. Contact the Oohnorahk as soon as possible, and tell no one of this task."
The Boggarak nods his head and responds.
"It shall be done"
The Boggarak feels Tyglax's presence depart from his mind and once again becomes aware of the surroundings. With a contented sniff, the Visorak gestures to his guard and marches off in a self confident strut.
