The Hand of Arlen

Fosoril's escorts quietly mutter unhappily at the developing situation. They are promptly hushed by a quick glance by Fosoril as he continues.
"But of course. I will walk you outside and we shall mend these bridges."

Though quiet, Fosoril's escorts become noticeably tense as the steady power disruption misting is stopped. A Vohtorak standing outside the cell opens the door outwards, and Fosoril gestures for the Toa to head outwards.

The small group moves out of the cell and, entering a large hallway which appears to be slightly curved, plod up the hall a few dozen yards before, turning to the inner wall, passing through a large, arched, protosteel door. The door is opened from the inside by a Keelerak and two Kohrok who maintain their position as the group heads past. The group heads down a short hall way before encountering and advancing up a wide, circular staircase. Once at the end of the staircase, they pass through another large and arched protosteel door before, as is evident from looking out a window, exiting onto the ground floor of the building. Fosoril proceeds to lead the group out of this building and into a large, exterior courtyard type area surrounded by walls. Across the courtyard, a large mound of earth and rock can be seen rising above the tops of the large walls.

Fosoril turns to the Toa. "Unbury it and I'll release your friends. I'm being lenient because your a Toa, and I know how honorable your kind strives to be. I would warn you, however, that if your friends take the opportunity to try and smash us all, I will have nothing else to do then to do away with them."

The Keelerak who peeked in at the Toa earlier slowly scuttles to a stop a distance behind the group. Having followed slowly from a distance, he stares, seemingly blankly at the Toa.    

Fosoril nods in satisfaction while turning to head back to the main Fortress building. "Very good. I'll have your friends released."

The Keelerak from earlier has vanished, having hurried quickly back down towards the underground complex beneath Maluanx's Fortress Building. The Visorak snaps to a nearby Oohnorahk, who joining the Keelerak in the Rahi's rush underground, mentally summons two Kohrok, two Pahrak, and a Guurahk to join the growing group.

Within moments, the group approaches the Toa of water's cell and, shooing away the guards, enter the cell quickly. The Keelerak advances towards the Toa as the S.A.D cam above her begins emitting a mix of blue and red energies which glow down upon the Toa in a single, wavering beam. The energies have the same effect as the ones used on Kron earlier, disrupting and weakening any powers she tries to use.

The Keelerak gazes at her with a quiet intensity before suddenly barking a command to his Oohnorahk. Within seconds, the S.A.D camera above the Toa switches energies, and, with a whir, bathes the Toa in a mess of red energies which wash over her with a bright glow.

His eyes sparking with sudden eagerness, the Keelerak suddenly darts quickly to the side, catching the Guurahk by the side of a pincher and pushing the Rhakshi into the crackling mess of energy.

The Keelerak and his gaurds watch the fireworks display, intent to discover what staff of fusion energies may do to a Toa and Rahkshi.

The Keelerak stares at the hybrid with supreme satisfaction, a smirk growing quickly on his face. Within a second, the door to the cell opens again, and an Oohnorak scuttles in with a Toa clad in black armor close behind. 
"Plake"

The Keelerak only slightly tips his head in acknowledgement of the Oohnorak's words. 
"It worked correctly."

The Oohnorak peers at the hybrid suspiciously. "How do you know?"

"The fusion is apparent, which is the first success, and the fact that it is reacting well is the second success."

The Oohnorak glances over it's shoulder at the Toa, who has been staring at the creation silently up to this point.
"Is this acceptable?"

"Acceptable. Complete the task. I shall survey them. Leave me with this one."

"Is that wise Lord Sagtrill?"

The Toa glances out of the corner of his eye at the Oohnorak and responds with dry sarcasm. "I'll survive." 

The Oohnorahk and the Keelerak turn, and exit the room as Sagtrill asks the Hybrid a question. "Are you aware of your identity?" 

As the Oohnorahk and the Keelerak step away from the cell, Fosoril, Kron, and their escorts enter the area, walking nearby. Fosoril spots the Oohnorahk and, narrowing his eyes, calls out with a small degree of sternness. "Mavriel! What are you doing around that cell?!"

"I had a deed to oversee."

"A deed? You didn't..." Fosoril stiffens nervously.
Mavriel responds with a shrug, "I received orders. I already told you what I needed."

"...This is...A poor time to tell me." 

Slightly unnerved, yet hiding it well, Satgrill responds smoothly. "You are a carefully created being. I spent many hours with your creators considering how best to bring you into existence. The state of affairs in this world demanded such, as did the task that stood before us."



Fosoril shrinks back slightly under Kron's gaze while beginning to answer in a somewhat matter of fact tone. "I didn't..."



Mavriel suddenly interrupts in a calm, emotionless manner as Kron is suddenly rendered weightless and cloaked in a darkness and a sleep power. "A necessary evil I am afraid. But it is a separation that will not last. You shall see your friends soon." A Pahrak suddenly dashes into the area while a S.A.D cam above fires of fusion energies at the Rahkshi and Kron.



Elsewhere among the other Toa, the Rahkshi corresponding with the Toa's color is directed into their cell's, and, with a burst of fusion energies, the strange fusion is attempted again.

At the fusion's remark, Sagtrill tilts his head slightly and replies with a hint of humor. "How simple. You see yourself as ready to walk out immediately and fight. Commendable, but I am afraid, impractical."

Sagrill takes a few steps towards the Fusion while continuing to speak.

"So we picture you, walking away from this fortress, en route to said threat. You arrive. Before you even begin to fight, the threat spots you approaching and, seeing your Rahkshi elements, puts two and two together and links you to my lord's forces. Said threat puts together a large welcoming committee which proceeds to embroil you in a grand fight. You overpower the threat and destroy his assets and, before you can even set one foot in front of the other, there come dozens of interested parties eager to see what all the fuss was about. Your first mission is therefore broadcasted to the world. Does this sound like a pleasing situation? You said earlier that you desire destruction, but for a purpose. If I let you act as our own private berserker, you would become little more than a weapon to be flung out at odd targets. Hardly a purposeful existence. If you possess the fortitude of mind, you could become a being of far more value to both yourself, and to me."

Sagtrill comes to a stop a few paces behind the original Fusion. Fosoril, Mavriel, and Mavriel's escort are also nearby, eyeing the developments. Fosoril appears tense and nervous while Mavriel stands, expressionless, gazing at the proceedings.

Sagtrill responds. "Ah yes, so you have met your brother. While I was hoping for a less informal meeting, this will do."

Sagtrill sends a mental message, and, one by one, the other Fusions are visited in their cells by a team of a Boggarak, and two S. Exo Toa. If compliant, the fusions are led to where Sagtrill and the two fusions are standing.

Upon the arrival of the fusions, Sagtrill glances around at them while speaking to the original fusion. "So we have here a wonderful team of specialists."

Sagtrill, finding something about all of this more than just slightly amusing, chips in as the blue fusion finishes its sentence. The Toa speaks, struggling to keep a (semi) straight face. 
"Indeed. You were all created in an effort to keep the forces of anarchy at bay. My title, is Toa Sagtrill, and I am responsible for you. I, along with other associates who shall remain nameless at this time, were given a mission. Our task was to create a team of hunters who could be relied upon to strike, and demolish hostiles. Individuals, teams of individuals, fortifications. No matter the target, our team was expected to complete the assignment. Stage one is complete. You are here. Your existence is a success. Stage two, however, must now come to fruition. If you are satisfied with the explanation for your existence, we may continue.

While Sagtrill is speaking, Fosoril begins casting eyes at the Oohnorak escorting him. The Oohnorak quickly notices, and a silent exchange takes place. Mavriel takes no part in this, apparently not noticing. 

Sagtrill smiles, before touching one of two small boxes strapped two his waist. Immediately upon touching it, he is enveloped in a burst of darkness, and the area a good foot all around him is also enveloped in the darkness. Somewhere inside this zone, Sagtrill's voice calls out.

"Enter. This is surely a worthy zone for Hunters such as yourselves."
