The Hand of Arlen

Within the halls of Malunax III, the form of Torzek snakes restlessly about.



"Stay here he says. Don't cause trouble. Worm. What does he know?"



Torzek moves swiftly through a large hallway and winds around a corner.



"Petty Rahi. Has to check up on me doesn't he? Keep me on his master's leash. Lap dog."



Darting to the side, Torzek exits a hallway and moves through a smaller corridor, his tail swinging angrily. The various Visorak in his path need no warning to tell them to make way.



"And the great Charix. What has he ever done for me? Locked me up in a room. Let me free only to watch me day and night. Sic me on targets like an asset; a weapon. Ah, but he knows I was meant to lead legions!"



The dragon comes to a stop, and, by mere happenstance, finds himself gazing at the door to the underground laboratories. Torzek's gaze drops downwards like a rock, and he eyes his claws. Strong, threatening tools of war.



"Claws. Useless claws!" Anger grows within Torzek, quickly leaping upwards in strength and becoming an internal fire. "Pinchers for lunging, claws for shredding, wings for flying but what for creating? What for commanding?! Can you hold a kanoka? No! Can you create Rahi? No!!"



With a roar, Torzek sends a mighty blast of corruption flame blasting into the door. Not feeling any better, Torzek departs from the scorched door, moving swiftly to another chamber, his mind filled with an overpowering desire.



A Keelerak looks up as Torzek enters the large room. Perceiving the dragon's sour disposition, the Keelerak wastes no time in telling Torzek what he knows he wants to hear.





"I did as you requested lord Torzek. The Rahkshi are prepared... Fragmentation, Corruption, and the Kurahk. I prepared many."



"How many?" Torzek's eyes, gleaming with satisfaction, greedily dart to and fro, eyeing the canisters lined in rows about the room.



"Forty Fragment. Twelve Corruption, and the one Kurahk. I have staffs for all and the shielding armor."

Torzek flies over the fortress and alights in the exterior courtyard. The Visorak and Rahkshi in the area respond appropriately, quickly looking extremely busy and hurrying as far away from the dragon as possible.

Within a few seconds, Fosoril trudges out of the main fortress building with a few Exo Toa and Rahkshi around him. 

Surprised to see Equinox accompanying the dragon, Fosoril almost comes to a stop, a fleeting look of uncertainty crossing his face. Without too much pause, he continues, dipping his head to both the Makuta and Torzek. "Lord Makuta and lord Torzek. I trust things are fine?"

Torzek snaps back a reply. "And why wouldn't they be?"

Fosoril fights the urge to flinch. "No reason at all. I've simply come to inform you that your Rahkshi are ready for whatever you were planning on doing. That is all. I trust I am free to attend other matters?"

Torzek, looking annoyed, simply nods. "Of course. You are free."

Fosoril dips his head before, trying his best not to acquire any of Equinox's attention, hurrying away. 

From Fosoril's perspective, as soon as he starts to hurry away Equinox is there standing in front of him. Soon his mind is taken by the Makuta to fulfill one order. 

"Send this message to Charix. His favorite pet came to me of his own volition, seeking me to destroy him. I have corrected this gnat for now, but should the gnat or any of his forces that come to me without order, they and those with them will die." 

After which, the Makuta walks off, soon vanishing from all scanners. 

He is mentally contacted.
"Stay away from Zurakia."

He notices that the Hand is merely one part of a much larger multi walled fortress. As he approaches, he observes first, a large exterior wall in which a large gate and double doors can be seen allowing passage through and inside the fortress. He also notices a large, fifty-foot tall black obelisk standing nearby the gate.

As he draws closer, he begins to see Visorak partially concealed atop the walk way on this exterior wall. A few flags and banners draped over the walls designate the establishment as Malunax III. Darren probably recognizes the symbol of the Seat of Chagrin emblazoned on the flags.

An Oohnorak teleports outside the gate with three S. Exo Toa in tow and waits silently as Darren approaches.

The Oohnorak spends some time gazing at Darren before speaking. "Well. You've been saved from certain death twice now... I guess seeing that fortress is of some degree of importance to you."

OOC: Sorry, I forgot about this.

IC: The Oohnorak pauses thoughtfully before replying. "Do you have a people? A tribe of matoran? A home?"

"Exciting?" The Oohnorak blinks, unconvinced, before half mumbling "Like what?" As if realizing what he said, the Oohnorak quickly speaks again quite a bit louder than usual. "Forgive my bluntness, but I just tend to see a lot of serious, depressing things going on most of the time."
